How do I book a class using vagaro?

What should I wear and bring to MAD?

Please wear comfortable clothing that doesn't restrict your movement. Shorts and a t-shirt are ideal.
Indoor shoes ONLY- don't wear your trail running shoes or outdoor training shoes. 
Bring a water bottle!
Bring a towel

What is your cancellation policy?

Personal Training appointments 

MAD Fitness, has a 24-hour cancellation/rescheduling policy for personal training appointments. If you must cancel or change the time of an appointment, we require that you provide notice twenty-four hours prior to the session that you are changing. You will be charged for the session if you fail to give 24 hours notice.

 

Class Cancellation Policy

MAD Fitness, has a 4-hour cancellation/rescheduling policy for class registration. If you must cancel or change the time of an appointment, we require that you provide notice two hours notice prior to the class that you are changing. You will be charged for the class if you no-show your registration, change your registration or late cancel.

We have implemented these policies because late cancellations impact both trainers and clients. Late cancellations leave gaps in our schedule that are difficult to fill. In giving last minute notice or no notice at all, you prevent someone else from being able to schedule into that time slot.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

What is your return policy?

We have a no return policy with the exception of a doctor's note stating that you cannot participate in exercise.

Do you offer memberships?  Is MAD Fitness a gym?

No.  MAD Fitness is a personal training studio and small group training space.  We do NOT offer memberships.

Where should I park?

We have a parking lot behind the studio located at 6 Lee Avenue.  There are designated MAD Fitness parking spots you should park your car in.  If you can't find space in the lot, there is metered parking in font of the studio and free street parking on Lee Avenue.

What should I expect at my first Personal Training session?

The first time you meet with your trainer will be a time to review your goals, health history and for you to ask questions. Your trainer will also evaluate your flexibility, mobility, stability and strength. Both Sue and Eve are Functional Movement Screen (FMS) certified so they will be using the screen to establish a baseline on which to build your program. This will insure that your workouts will be safe and effective.  Your trainer will give you feedback based on the conversation and screening which will include a road map to your goals.  You will leave with a few exercises to start doing at home, prior to your next appointment!

Are there any benefits for first-time customers?

Yes! Your first class is free. Sign up for an account on our scheduling website.  When your account registration is finalized we will manually add the free class to your account.  We try to add your free class to your account as soon as possible but do step away from the computer sometimes so please be patient if it takes a little longer than expected to show up on your account.  You can always email us if you have questions!

I'm new to MAD should I start with a class or with a trainer evaluation?

Seasoned exercisers can start right away with classes.  If you regularly exercise 2-4 times a week you should be good to go in class!

We recommend new exercisers start with a personal training session.  The personal training session includes time to review your goals, health history and a movement screen evaluation.  Your trainer will also evaluate your flexibility, mobility, stability and strength. Your trainer will give you feedback based on the conversation and screening which will include a road map to your goals.
